Micah Moore, known as Crashing Upwards, is more than a Christian artist—he is a living testimony of redemption, perseverance, and radical faith. Raised in church but hungry for something deeper, Micah's journey led him through brokenness, homelessness, addiction, depression, spiritual battles, betrayal, and seasons of profound loss. Yet every setback became part of a greater story God was writing.

What makes Micah different is that he isn't pursuing music for fame, recognition, or personal success. His mission is singular: point people to Jesus Christ and disappear behind the message. The name Crashing Upwards reflects that pursuit—a life spent seeking God with everything, even through failure, struggle, and uncertainty.

Without formal musical training, Micah began writing/receiving songs after a life-changing encounter that confirmed a calling he had sensed since childhood. Since then, he has followed that calling by faith, creating music that blends acoustic alternative rock, worship, and raw spiritual honesty.  All musical inspiration comes from prayer and seeking the Lord. No AI.  Every lyric is rooted in real experience, hard-earned conviction, and a desire to help others encounter the same grace that transformed his life. 

Today, Micah stands as proof that God can use imperfect people for extraordinary purposes. His music is an invitation to the hurting, the searching, and the hopeless: there is redemption, there is truth, and there is hope.

This isn't just music. It's a rescue story still being written—and everyone is invited to be part of it.
